Quincy City Council met on Nov. 10 and approved a home-rule petition to allow sworn affidavits in lieu of missing preemployment medical records for public safety personnel; the council also passed a resolution demanding accountability and a state investigation after an electrical explosion involving National Grid and contractor Riley Brothers. Several routine votes (a $2,750 gift to DARE, minutes approval, traffic referrals) were also approved.
