The Yonkers City Council held a public hearing on Nov. 12, 2025, to consider a resolution to honorarily rename Ravine Avenue and Union Place “Sadie Oliver Way.” Family members and residents testified about Sadie Oliver’s decades of community service and programs for local youth. After public comment, a council member moved to bring the item from the rules committee to the council’s agenda for a vote later that evening.
