Schererville Town Council and associated boards met Nov. 12, 2025. Council and boards approved routine minutes and claims, adopted several fee and zoning ordinances, approved Norfolk Southern license agreements and a property purchase tied to the Kennedy Avenue improvement, accepted a Redevelopment spending plan, approved an engagement for an ambulance-rate study, and heard public comments about rental water-deposit policy, a proposed fire station site, school-bus stop safety, and firefighters facility needs.
