Cathedral City Council met Nov. 12, 2025 for a study session that included a semiannual update on public-works maintenance and non-city-funded projects (landscaping, LLD-funded monuments and regional CVAG message boards) and a broad discussion about possible charter amendments (term limits, council pay, council composition). Public commenters raised a security complaint about the senior center and residents praised tree and landscaping work. The council directed staff to pursue a charter ‘cleanup’ process rather than rush measures for the 2026 ballot.
