Cape Coral City Council met in Committee of the Whole on Nov. 12, 2025. Council heard presentations and gave guidance on JC Park Phase 2 boat slips (staff to further refine concepts 4 and 5 and add a kayak launch), received a full update on Yacht Club redevelopment costs and schedule, reviewed median landscaping templates (direction to install foundational curbing, sod and irrigation), discussed building-permit private-provider fee discounts (council kept status quo pending codification), and reviewed proposed fence/retaining-wall code changes (staff to consult industry and return).
