Mayor Wallachie called the Nov. 12, 2025 meeting of the Town of Moraga Town Council to order at 5:30 p.m., took roll, noted two excused members (Carrie Hillis and Brian Dolan), and asked Asher to lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

The council accepted a proclamation naming Dec. 1, 2025 Rosa Parks Day, heard a presentation on a MOFD Station 42 Firewise Demonstration Garden, introduced ordinances to update local building codes and to amend scenic-corridor rules tied to the 2023 housing element (first readings), modified an interview/appointment policy to make special-meeting interviews not broadcast, and received several department updates including funding news for an affordable senior housing project and the announced retirement of the public works director.
