The Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen met Nov. 11, 2025. The board sworn in newly elected ward aldermen, unanimously elected Patrick Baggett vice mayor, accepted multiple contract items, and deferred several major land-use items including the Harlan PUD annexation and related development requests to March 24, 2026. The council adopted a multi-part annual zoning ordinance update after amendments on floodplain timing, building height review, and vape-shop buffers.
