The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees met in a multi-committee session and approved a series of routine and substantive academic and administrative items across UA, UAB and UAH, including a new undergraduate degree in artificial intelligence, creation of a School of Leadership and Policy at UA, multiple namings and endowments, and trustee elections. Committee reports covered program reviews, investment and finance committee actions, and student engagement data highlighting higher retention among participants in extracurricular programs. Several information items and administrative program changes were presented for future implementation or review.
