The House Committee on Government Operations advanced three bills: Senate Bill 595 (H-1) to extend and adjust Michigan–Indiana border remonumentation, heard testimony and voted to report it out; House Bill 4669 to restore unannounced legislator site visits to MDOC facilities received pro and con testimony but no committee vote; and House Bill 5234 on salvage vehicle inspection fee use received testimony and discussion. The committee then adjourned.
