At its Nov. 12, 2025 meeting the Mount Diablo Unified School District Board of Education approved a $40 million certificate of participation (COP) financing (selecting the eight-year option), ratified a tentative contract agreement with the Mount Diablo Education Association (MEDEA), and adopted several personnel, policy and facilities items. Trustees also heard public comment about bargaining practices and a member of MEDEA raised concerns about incomplete facilities work. The board reported closed‑session litigation actions and approved an athletic compliance officer appointment.
