Council approved several ordinances (including adoption of the municipal traffic code and amendments to Chapter 7), took first-reading action on the 2026 budget, approved a contract for TANF services, and directed staff to perform a water rate study. The meeting included officer swearing-ins, a municipal judge appointment, a tourism program update, staff project reports and an extended public-works update.
