Chair Moore called the Water and Sewer Board to order and asked Brenda to take roll; several board members and council liaisons were recorded present (Freeman, Jolie, Mercier/Rita, Ridley, Council member Russell, Vice Chair Breski, Chair Moore).
The Englewood Water and Sewer Board met and approved a 2025 budget supplemental to reappropriate roughly $9 million in stormwater funds so two projects can be closed out and contractors paid. Public works staff said the South Inglewood flood reduction work is at closeout and Old Hampton Utilities is expected to finish in 2025; staff noted weather could cause delays. The board also heard an update that about 1,500 lead or galvanized lines have been replaced and $280.89 in customer water-testing reimbursements will be recovered from the SRF loan.
