The New Canaan Water Pollution Control Authority held a special meeting and public hearing to consider a new one-time sanitary sewer impact fee. After discussion the WPCA approved a $10-per-gallon one-time fee (to be paid at building permit filing), added language for a post-construction assessment prior to certificate of occupancy, and agreed the fee will be reviewed annually.
