Board Chair called the Nov. 11, 2025 meeting to order, welcomed attendees, honored Veterans Day and asked the room to join the Pledge of Allegiance; emphasized gratitude to students, families, staff and community.
At its Nov. 11, 2025 meeting, the Richland 2 Board of Trustees recognized Veterans Day, approved routine consent items, voted on several executive-session student appeals and personnel items, and heard detailed presentations on a proposed revision to Policy KF (community use of school facilities), the district's first-quarter financial report, the instructional plan and formative-assessment data, and other policy discussions including AI and credit/content recovery. Board members asked detailed follow-up questions about facility fees, fee waivers for booster and community groups, fundraising language, custodial charges for polling sites, and specifics of assessment usage. Several motions passed (agenda, executive session, consent agenda, student appeals/admissions, employment recommendations) and the board approved support for the SCSBA resolutions and a committee-structure revision.
