DeSoto Building and Standards Commission on Nov. 13, 2025 heard training and governance items, swore in a new commissioner, and held four public hearings that resulted in orders: a demolition order for 1124 Canyon Ridge (30 days, city authorized to abate and lien the property), administrative penalties for 600 and 604 Peg Street (each up to $57,000 for noncompliance days), and compliance deadlines for 1415 South Hampton Road.
