The Richland County Public Safety Standing Committee met to receive routine departmental reports, accept several grants including an EPCRA award, update the committee on a PSAP/NG9-1-1 grant and radio tower progress, approve collective bargaining changes for deputy sheriffs, and hear updates on treatment court funding and staffing. Several motions (agenda, minutes, EPCRA grant, CBA amendments, adjournment) were moved and approved unanimously.
