The Minneapolis City Budget Committee unanimously approved a resolution authorizing a proposed 4% annual inflationary adjustment to the park infrastructure component of the 20-year neighborhood park plan for 2027–2031; the change increases projected annual guaranteed minimum funding to about $15.9 million by 2031 and requires concurrent Park and Recreation Board adoption and later full council action.
