At a recent Calais City Council meeting, the city manager updated the council on the Nov. 4 election and scheduling, celebrated several long-serving employees, reported near-completion of the North Street reconstruction, and warned of a brief Milltown Bridge closure; council also handled sealed-bid sales and set an annual special-amusement permit fee.
