Albert Lea Public School District staff warned that declining enrollment and rising non-discretionary costs threaten the districts finances, outlined recent and possible reductions, and launched a capacity-study and community task force to evaluate options for buildings, staffing and long-term facility maintenance. Staff presented enrollment models, fiscal projections and next steps for community engagement.
