Delray Beach City Commission held a workshop on Nov. 18, 2025 to review proposed updates to the city’s noise ordinance (objective decibel standards, exempt/prohibited activities, training and enforcement) and to consider whether to pursue a feasibility review of the West Atlantic Neighborhood Improvement District. Commissioners discussed lawn-equipment hours, possible expansion/conditional uses for the entertainment district, enforcement mechanics for vehicle noise, and next steps for a neighborhood-improvement feasibility study; public commenters raised flooding, traffic-safety and quality-of-life concerns.
