Kane County Transportation Committee held a regularly scheduled meeting that included public comment on bicycle infrastructure, reports on winter readiness and salt-use monitoring, planning updates and a set of resolutions approving fee updates, engineering services and wayside horn replacements. The committee voted unanimously to set a second public hearing on land-use assumptions, update oversized/overweight vehicle permit fees, award an engineering services agreement, approve wayside horn replacements, and move into closed session for land-acquisition discussion.
