Sunnyvale City Council held a joint study session with board and commission chairs and vice chairs on Nov. 18, 2025 to review proposed changes to the boards and commissions policy, discuss the new council priority projects process replacing the study-issue process, consider meeting cadence, youth representation, excused-absence rules, and park commission suggestions on on-site meetings and improved park-use data.
