Fairport Harbor Village Council held a regular meeting with administrators and residents discussing insurance options, a multi-year county dispatch contract with steep cost increases, noise complaints and proposed changes to the noise ordinance, and strong public opposition to a proposed gas-station/coffee-shop project at Steeles Plaza. Several resolutions and ordinances were set for first reading and a special meeting was scheduled for final votes.
