Mayor Drew Nichols called the Nov. 17, 2025 Village of Round Lake Beach council meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.; clerk conducted roll call confirming trustees Husk, Davis, Ibera, Hilsheim and Stout were present and Deputy Village Clerk Bernard and selected department heads were introduced.
Round Lake Beach village board met Nov. 17, 2025. The board honored retiring Trustee Sylvia Valadez, swore in a new police officer and two municipal officers, received a clean audit and auditor communications, reviewed a preliminary 2025 property tax levy estimate, approved an ordinance dissolving the Avon Fremont drainage district, heard a public comment asking for a foster-dog exception to the villages three-dog limit, and recessed into executive session.
