Sumner County Board of Education met Nov. 18, 2025, heard an extended presentation on federal and state accountability metrics and district instructional supports, approved several personnel and budget policies including a paid parental-leave expansion for foster/guardian placements, and approved budget amendments. The board also recognized student groups and held public comment from a teacher and guardian.
