Columbiana city council met in November 2025. The council denied a request to rezone 1584 Highway 47 from RMH to M-2 (heavy manufacturing), approved four parcels on North Highland Drive from no zoning to R-1, and adopted a resolution authorizing the city to intervene in litigation over distribution of Simplified Seller Use Tax (SSUT) funds. The mayor gave routine community updates and no members of the public spoke during public comment.
