The Lake County Board considered and adopted an addendum to the CEQA initial study and mitigated negative declaration for the South Main Street and Soda Bay Road widening and bike lanes project, allowing limited nighttime construction and confirming no new significant environmental impacts. The board voted 5-0 to adopt the addendum and staff will pursue construction funding, including a $10.5 million STIP allocation to be considered by the California Transportation Commission in January 2026.
