Undersecretary Mark Tolleson opened the seventh convening of the Transcend Transformation Task Force, thanked members and hosts, and said the task force has now covered all statutorily required topics and will refine outstanding recommendations in the new year. He asked members to introduce themselves before public comment and introduced two local speakers to provide welcome remarks.
The California State Transportation Agencys Transcend Transformation Task Force met in Clovis to review and vote on policy recommendations covering workforce strategies, land use and transit-oriented development, fleet and asset management, revenue options and grant/oversight reforms. Members approved several concept recommendations, tabled others for refinement, and directed staff to return with clarified language and funding scenarios in early 2025.
