The Valparaiso Board of Zoning Appeals held a public meeting and hearings on Oct. 21, 2025, taking votes on multiple variances including a downtown parking variance, a proposed Meijer grocery and kiosk at 2801 Calumet Ave., and a set of residential and home-occupation variances. The board approved several variances, continued detailed architecture and access items for further staff review, and set conditions on a home salon use.
