The Bannock County commissioners reviewed a five-year lease-with-option-to-buy for a landfill compactor, authorized signature on two survey-review roster contracts and discussed procurement, event-center prequalification and a lengthy debate over fairgrounds rental rules and proposed pickleball use of a new exhibit hall. The board approved the compactor lease by voice vote and passed routine claims and consent items.
