Catawba County Board of Education met Aug. 25, 2025. The board accepted a resignation letter from longtime member Dr. Leslie Barnett, received reports on the start of the school year and facilities work, heard public comment on Infinite Campus and book lists, approved a state-mandated school mental health plan and several construction-related contracts and change orders, and voted to enter closed session.
