Charlottesville City School Board met May 1, 2025. The board celebrated the approved, no-cost acquisition of the Federal Executive Institute property, approved several routine and budget items (consent agenda, special education annual plan, a $1,000 one-time retention bonus), advanced elementary rezoning and policy JC with an amendment, and heard extended public comment opposing the recent decision to return school resource officers to schools.
