The Agoura Hills Planning Commission held public hearings and unanimously recommended that the City Council adopt two zoning amendments: (1) repeal and replace the citys accessory dwelling unit (ADU) regulations to align with recent state law changes (including SB 543), and (2) consolidate and update the protected-tree ordinance to streamline permitting, add two species to the protected list, and revise mitigation and enforcement procedures.
