The Anderson City Council on Sept. 22 held its regular meeting, honored longtime volunteers and staff, and approved first readings or approvals on a revised noise ordinance, an updated business-license schedule required by state law, a transit safety plan, a Main Street sewer rehabilitation contract, and an engineering contract for digester-lid replacement and SCADA upgrades.
