Augusta City Council held its Sept. 15, 2025 meeting in City Council Chambers and approved a revised 2026 budget that reduced the citys cash reserve and raised property tax dollars modestly; council also authorized bond resolutions to finance a Public Works campus and water system improvements, extended a sales-tax exemption for a senior housing rehabilitation project, and approved several routine contracts and proclamations.
