City of Livingston planning staff presented a comprehensive zoning text amendment to align local rules with the 2021 growth policy and recent state laws; board members and multiple public commenters raised questions about building heights, parking, short-term rentals and downtown first-floor uses. The Land Use Board voted to continue review to the October 8 meeting and scheduled a public workshop/open house for additional comment.
