Pittsburg City Commission received a public comment urging new soccer fields, approved routine consent items and a $1.671 million street mill-and-overlay contract, and heard a detailed city manager presentation of the citys five-year financial forecast with recommendations for 3% employee raises and a 3% utility rate increase; budget hearings are scheduled for Aug. 12 and adoption on Sept. 9.
