Tehachapi City Council held a regular meeting where council approved the consent agenda, heard a proclamation and community announcements, and introduced two ordinances for first reading: a rental registration/inspection/business-tax measure and a package of municipal code updates covering administrative fines, short-term rentals, trash and parking enforcement. Both ordinances were introduced 4-0 and will return for adoption at a future meeting.
