Rocky Mount City Council held a regular meeting with community updates, a presentation from Electric Cities recognizing Rocky Mount, multiple public comments on housing and transparency, and routine business including adoption of a FY25–26 budget carry-forward ordinance ($18,020,152) and approval to sell 500 Gold Leaf Street to Self Help CDC for $25,000. A closed session for personnel was approved at the end of the meeting.
