Iowa Board of Regents committee meetings covered capital projects and leases at the three regent universities, bylaws and startup activity for a new Center for Intellectual Freedom, First Amendment training and an upcoming free-speech survey, campus safety (Clery) reports, several academic program approvals and reorganizations, a tuition-guarantee impact study, enrollment trends, and presentations on innovation and Ames National Laboratory. Committees recommended multiple items to the full board by general consent.
