Eric Richardson of the nonpartisan Iowa Legislative Services Agency reported that Iowas FY2025 net general fund revenue declined 7.1% (about $629 million) through June 30, 2025, with a large drop in pass-through entity tax receipts and timing differences in sales tax payments affecting year-to-year comparisons.
