The Policy Committee of the Whole met on 2025-10-21 in Tangipahoa Parish to consider three policy revisions: overtime compensation for maintenance staff, child nutrition program management, and revisions to the absences/excuses (attendance) policy. All three items passed as amended; the attendance policy was amended to change parent excused absences from three to five per semester and to hold other changes in committee pending legal/statutory review.
