At a Cherokee Nation Tribal Council meeting, Treasurer Taylor reported the Nation issued 10,976 emergency payments to citizens who missed federally issued supplemental nutrition payments; the council also approved an amendment to Legislative Act 26-25 to authorize the FY2026 comprehensive operating budget modification and declared an emergency.
