Dickinson City Commission on Nov. 18, 2025 approved a contested rezoning (Ordinance 18-40) to allow four-unit buildings in the Heart River 4th subdivision despite strong neighborhood opposition, and took routine actions including awarding a $10.84 million guaranteed‑maximum price for the Baylor Building, approving grant letters and task-order amendments for water and road projects, and adopting a police retention bonus distribution plan.
