Santa Rosa City Council met in a hybrid session to consider code adoptions, land-use hearings, a contested variance for a proposed 15-bed assisted living home, an eminent domain resolution for a creek-trail access easement, utility and service rate and fleet planning items, and proclamations and public comment on family court awareness. Council adopted the 2025 fire and WUI codes, denied an appeal of a frontage-improvement variance for 635 Benjamins Road, approved an eminent-domain resolution for a trail easement, approved a 3.7% Recology rate increase, and accepted a fleet electrification master plan.
