Acting Mayor Carwin opened a Menifee City Council meeting that included a public hearing on the Menifee 27 residential project; the council denied an appeal and approved the project 4-0 with an added condition requiring pedestrian access to the adjacent commercial parcel. The meeting also included community recognitions, a committee appointment and a continuance of a separate item to Feb. 18, 2026.
