The Commission on Professional Standards in Education met to approve minutes, set its 2026 meeting schedule and consider a series of regulatory workshops and public hearings on educator licensure (including changes to Praxis Core policy, endorsements, license lengths and retiree/apprentice rules). Great Basin College presented its competency-based educator preparation work and plans for a trauma‑informed endorsement funded through Senate Bill 165.
