Springfield Township SD policy committee met Dec. 10, 2025, to review four policy revisions: exemption from instruction (policy 105.2), field-trip guidance, dress/grooming (Crown Act alignment), and social media. Committee favored moving the policies to the board agenda for Jan. 20 and discussed clarifications on 18-year-old opt-outs, dissection exemptions, trip approvals, equitable funding, Crown Act language, and limiting district social media to nonpublic forums.
