Chair Frank Albert opened the meeting, introduced himself and conducted roll call; Mark Kennedy identified himself as land use administrator and Melinda Nordell, Way Morel, Bruce Stevens and Doug Cowley identified their roles as members/alternate.
The Brentwood Zoning Board of Adjustment heard two variance applications: Shannon Stevens sought permission for a 1,073 sq ft accessory dwelling unit (ADU) on Sanborn Way to accommodate an elderly relative and the board approved the variance contingent on standard building-permit conditions; a commercial redevelopment at 266 Route 125 (Michael Foran / SCL Realty Realty LLC) seeking eight variances and a special exception to rebuild a former restaurant was presented and the board approved a special exception and a package of variances.
