San Angelo City Council held its Dec. 2, 2025 meeting. Council issued proclamations for holiday events and literacy, recognized longtime city and community volunteers, approved several contracts and rezones, authorized a final phase purchase of water meters, directed staff to advance animal shelter pod designs (with debate over capacity and euthanasia practices), and moved into closed session for personnel matters.
